After School Daycare Aide

Job Summary:
St. Francis de Sales School is accepting applications for a part-time position as an after-school daycare aide. Work hours are daily, Monday-Friday from 2:30-5:30, at a pay rate of $14 an hour. A successful candidate must be faith-filled, dynamic, compassionate, energetic, and willing to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Directly supervise and assist children in performing planned activities (homework, structured games, ect.)
Actively participate in daycare operations
Reinforce behavior expectations and group management
Maintain a clean and safe daycare environment
Maintain strict child confidentiality
High tolerance for paperwork, documentation, and meeting school deadlines
Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church
Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times
Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional, empathetic and timely manner
Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff and administration

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years or older
Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and communication
Must be comfortable with technology including Google Docs, laptops, iPads, online testing, etc.
Must have a commitment to Catholic school education. Experience in a Catholic school setting is preferred, but not required
