St. Francis de Sales School is accepting applications for a part-time position as an after-school daycare aide. Work hours are daily, Monday-Friday from 2:30-5:30, at a pay rate of $14 an hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise and assist children in performing planned activities (homework, structured games, ect.)
- Actively participate in daycare operations
- Reinforce behavior expectations and group management
- Maintain a clean and safe daycare environment
- Maintain strict child confidentiality
- High tolerance for paperwork, documentation, and meeting school deadlines
- Maintain high professional standards consistent with the mission of the school and the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times
- Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional, empathetic and timely manner
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff and administration
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and communication
- Must be comfortable with technology including Google Docs, laptops, iPads, online testing, etc.
- Must have a commitment to Catholic school education. Experience in a Catholic school setting is preferred, but not required
