St. Francis de Sales Education Foundation Memorial Donations
DONATIONS TO THE ST. FRANCIS DE SALES EDUCATION FOUNDATION --- An Alternative to Having Masses Said for the Deceased
A fitting prayerful tribute to a friend or loved one can be accomplished by making a $10.00 donation to the St. Francis de Sales Education Foundation.
Upon making your donation to the Education Foundation, the following will occur:
Donations can be made in the Church Office, School Office, or online by clicking HERE.
The Education Foundation was formed in 1983 to provide additional funds to the School for operational expenses like salaries, with the reduction in the number of Franciscan Sisters as teachers. The goal is to eventually provide about 33% of the School’s operating funds; currently the Foundation provides about 20%.
Only earnings such as interest from the Education Foundation investments can be tapped for the School—the principle cannot be touched. So when you donate to the Education Foundation, you are giving in perpetuity to our Catholic School.

Upon making your donation to the Education Foundation, the following will occur:
- During the morning assembly of all students at St. Francis de Sales School, your loved one will be remembered in the group morning prayers said by the entire staff and students (about 140 people).
- On the day of the School prayers, your loved one’s name will be prominently displayed in the School as the recipient of the daily prayers by the students and staff.
- Your name will be also be listed on the same School display as having made a donation to the Education Foundation in memory of your loved one.
- In the Sunday Church Bulletin, it will be listed that you have made a donation to the Education Foundation in memory of your loved one.
