Welcome to 6th GradeAs a St. Francis de Sales Catholic School alumni, I am excited to begin my 16th year as a teacher here. I live in Manistique with my husband, Everett and our three children, Everett, Blake, and Archer. We own a farm outside of town with cows, pigs, ducks, Leonard the donkey and our dog Buck. I attended Michigan State University and have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with a Language Arts endorsement. I also have a Master's in Teaching and Curriculum, also from MSU. Go Green! I have taught 1st, 4th and 5th grades, served as principal, and I am excited to begin another year as the middle school teacher. I have a passion for reading and books and am excited to share that with older students in the coming year. I also enjoy spending time with my family - anything from watching the boys in their sports and activities, spending time outside, or snuggled up watching movies and playing games. I also love to travel and have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to do so. If you have any questions, email is the best way to reach me, but you can also call or stop by the school.

Middle School Teacher - 7th/8th Grade (906)341-5512 ext. 245 [email protected] |
Welcome to 7th/8th GradeAfter attending St. Francis de Sales Catholic School through eighth grade, I am grateful for the chance to return and continue my journey as a part of this amazing school. Raised here and forever a yooper, I also attended Northern Michigan University where I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, minoring in mathematics and language arts. My husband, Chris, and I have four beautiful children: Pressley, Kelson, Journey, and Wiley. Outside of school, I spend most of my time chauffeuring children, cheering in the stands, and staying busy with my family. I love watching, playing, and coaching sports. In true yooper form, I love being outdoors - fishing and camping are favorites. This year, I am teaching middle school classes with a 7th and 8th grade homeroom. Feel free to reach out to me anytime - call, e-mail, or stop by!
